Fresh and Healthy Quinoa Salade

Since last Saturday, I'm trying out only eating 'ingredients', as suppose to processed foods. I'm not saying I'm never going to eat anything processed, but I want to give my body a break and try to detox. For me, juicing would be the perfect way to go, but since the next couple of weeks are going to be quite busy for me, I thought I would try juicing some other time. For now, I'll try eating fresh, nutritious foods and drinks. No soda's, no candy bars, just freshly juiced fruits and vegetables, green tea, water, salads, home made dinners made from scratch etc. I'm only three days in, but seriously, my skin looks so healthy and glowing! I feel good, healthy and fulfilled. The first two days I felt kind of weak, and tiered. But I read that's suppose to happen since your body is trying to take out all the toxics from your body. Today I have this healthy, fresh and delicious salad with Quinoa. All the veggies are chopped up to very small pieces so my kids would eat it
too. I added some honey and one date to add some sweetness to it.



Here's what you'll need:



- ½ package of quinoa, cooked
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 to 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp turmeric 

- Pinch of sea salt 
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1/3 cucumber, cut into small pieces 

- 1 date, in small pieces
- 2 inches of feta cheese, crumbled
- Mixed salads (watercress, arugula, lettuce)

- Chopped dill



First mix honey, olive oil, lemon juice, turmeric and salt and then add all ingredients in a large bowl and stir well. And that's it! You can enjoy a healthy, fresh and delicious quinoa salad! Perfect for summer!
